My name is Ngereja Lazaro and I am 30 years old. I am married and have one child. I started working on local chicken farming after seeing a great demand for these chickens in marketplaces, and I now have a total of 24 chickens. Since starting this project, I have managed to serve my family, pay the water and electricity bills, purchase eggs and meat for meals and provide manure for my wife's garden. The challenge I am experiencing in this project is not having enough capital to reach the number of chickens I want, or to cover the cost of food and chicken vaccinations. Additionally, my chickens are sometimes attacked by diseases. Therefore, I am in need of capital to maintain the number of chickens that I plan to have.
